  • after run oil

hi guys ive have been through about 8 tanks with my align 91h and want to put a few drops of this after run oil .where do i put it into the engine? where exactly?
and should this be done now and then and does it help keep the engine parts last longer?

    cheers

the best is to put a few drops into a open carburetor and spin it with the starter for a few seconds, putting it into the plug hole will lubricate the piston, and you really need to get the oil to the bearings.

He said put the plug back in before you turn it with the starter, otherwise it will just be ejected from the hole!

i saw a vid a while ago where somebody rigged a bit of fuel tube from the carb fuel inlet into a bottle of after run oil then turned the motor over with the starter sucking the oil into the engine.
dont use the stuff myself but thought it was a novel idea.

Take the back plate off and put 2 drops in there, put it back on and spin the engine a few times. Done

done ! it was the first time i opened my engine lol and i could see the bearings and crankshaft and the piston.sorry im just over excited .

ican see this IS the best method of putting the run oil in.

                        thanks danny

Next time while I'm at it can I put some grease onto the bearings or is that a bad idea?

I use a small syringe with a bit of fuel tube on it. Suck up some ar oil, Open throttle fully connect the syringe to the fuel intake of the carb then spin it with the starter for 15 sec while pushing it in.

And grease on the bearings would be a BAAAADDD idea !
