Optifuel.. I visited the factory today
I had the day off and went to Slaithwaite (Huddersfield) to collect some fuel and accessories from Optifuel and was shown round the place..
Some of you will probably know, some won't including me how much "Lab" work goes into mixing/blending the various fuel we burn in our RC helis/planes/cars etc etc.
I took a look at the massive (over 2000 litre tank..
) that actually blends the fuel together followed by the bottling department, finishing with the tops screwed on robot style and the label fitted to the container, and last but not least placed into their shipping boxes and stacked on to pallets ready for dispatch.
I have to say what a professional team Andy runs at the factory and can say it was a pleasure seeing what goes on behind the scenes.
