  • Changing to 30% - engine tuning?

I'm on my last bottles of 20% Magnum and am going to change fuels to Rapicon or Optifuel and also go for 30%.

When changing to 30%, how many 'clicks' richer is a good rule of thumb to start with - I don't want a lean run on the first go!
    Thanks.

My advice would be to go half a turn richer, try it and lean in gently from there.

Too rich won't damage your engine. Too lean will.

      Hi Lee,

I using Rapicon 30% fuel atm and am liking it alot.

Its a good price as well. Really worth giving it a go IMO
      Cheers Matt

Thanks Steve. Half a turn it is to start with.

Cheers Mattie. I certainly feel I need a bit more poke sometimes to help with my cack-handed pitch management
