  • Mixing fuels?

    Hi all
New to nitro and started out using rapicon 20% but am going to change to optifuel 20%slv as my local hobby store stocks it so will be easier/cheaper to pick up.
Question is I have about a tank of rapicon left and wondered if it would cause me any issue to pour it into the new opti can?
Don't want to waste it but have changed pump etc over to new container ready for next trip.

    Your thoughts please?

    Cheers
    Craig

Ps: its going in an OS50h

I would just use the last of Rapicon first, so you can start fresh with the Opti.

Dont forget to check the tune when you change fuel as they are all slightly different and it could be a little lean (unsafe).

I always open the main needle 4-5 clicks when I change fuel to make sure it is safe then retune from this slightly rich setting.

They are all essentially the same thing, so shouldnt be a problem
