Did the engine not come with a header to allow the fitting of a tuned pipe. What plane are you putting it on

These engines are for fixed wing rather than heli use - but I see you are planning to use it on an airboat - Im guessing this should be ok, but just watch your temps, as you will not have quite the same degree of cooling with the prop sucking air over the engine rather than blowing air. You would think it would be the same, but the prop sources a reasonable quantity of air from the peripheries.

This engine would usually have a clamp on, rather than bolt on exhaust/muffler. I have seen conversions where people have drilled and tapped appropriate spaced/sized threaded holes in the casing. Either that or you go with a clamp on exhaust. The clamps are a bit like large jubilee clips.

The bolt holes will be on the exhaust side and you use a jubilee clip like this photo.

had a good look around just engines and i spotted this
                BCM .60 - .80/90 Muffler

Price: £35.98 (Including VAT at 20%)

                Quantity:
Fixing screws and a gasket (+£1.70 inc VAT)

BCMSP6080, Universal, low db muffler for .60 - .80/90 engines.

This nice, light aluminium unit is unique as it fits with a strap around the cylinder head, making it ideal for older engines where no exhaust is available, or for engines with some damage to exhaust fitting.

Dimensions: 180mm long excluding outlet, angled outlet 40mm long, diameter is 40mm, angled flange is 30mm standoff at widest point.
so put one on order hopefully this will fit i did email them but i never got a reply so here's hopeing
