There seems to be an extreme shortage of lady Pilots in this hobby. If there are any non pilot females reading this, please tell what it would take to get you into this heli hobby. It would be good to know, and maybe something could be done.
Chris.

Well I can add one to the list, my wife
![]() Having had some flying time with my CX2 she now has a CX3 and is loving it. I've just done a few blingy upgrades for her and set it up (will hover indoors now with no input) ![]() Hopefully she'll progress as I am to something a little more adventurous, however for now she is the one always asking me to pop into our LHS

I think it's two things in general;
1. As you say, lots of people, girls and guys both, just don't have any idea about why it's fun and cool. My flatmates for example, are not even curious enough to ask about it and I have lots of helis here under the same roof. I suppose to turn the tables around, I know people into various sports and hobbies that I have never developed an interest in myself. 2. RC flying has a bit of a 'geek' image as associated with model building / flying in general. Lots of people may not realise how far the hobby has moved on from the old balsa and paper days, let alone helis being a whole other beast. So maybe some associate it with the building / modelling side when in fact it is quite easy to do little or no building these days.
