Default Align 3g USB link cable

I've just fitted a FBL head and Align 3g to a 450, and not happy with the way it's flying. I want to see which firmware it has installed and have a mess with the setttings, so I'm looking for a USB link cable. Does anyone have one going cheap?

    Cheers

There are 2 cables supplied with the 3G unit you can splice them together to make your 'y' lead.
Just make sure you have correct connections pin to pin, not colour to colour as some of the colours are wired differently.
You can fly with the 'y' lead connected.
Take care when pulling plugs out of 3G units, the small tabs on the plugs can get damaged. You can also loosen the connector inside the units. I took my units apart and reinforced the connectors with epoxy, also used silicone sealant or Zap a Goo to hold connectors in place.
Poor connections are a known problem on the 3G. Cost me 2 helis and have seen 4 other crashes due to poor connections.
No worries if you take care.

I prefer the 3G to the 3GX and BeastX, especially on the 450pro.

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately the 3G unit came with a heli I bought, and didn't come with any spare leads, so I'll be needing the Y splitter too
