so this guy is out under the new rules?? all hes ever done is use for sale!

im not suggesting he is a scammer.but he has contributed nothing to the forum

I agree fully with this decision... i enjoy seeing items for sale by our members but there needs to be an element of exclusivity and earned trust that comes with the right to post an item for sale on a forum like this. We don't want to become a free ads or even ebay like site but i have had some fantastic buying and selling recently due to the good nature of the trusted members of this enthusiasts site.....

Theres a few people like that to be honest. Again just one of the reasons we are doing this. The only way to be sure is to buy from a person that has a good honest reputation on the forum. Someone like Tim (Busterboy) who has contributed greatly to the forum but also has fantastic reputation for selling/trading quality items. Hope ya dont mind me using you as an example Tim but its true mate And as an example of what i mean... Tim is the type of guy if he sells you something and your not happy with it he wouldnt think twice about offering you a full refund. Some guys (normally the ones that only post to sell/trade) would just take the money/run and offer no support whatsoever. There are loads of you on here exactly like Tim and thats the way it should be IMO.

My point exactly.... i purchased a high value item from Tim without question.. and he accepted a less than secure payment arrangement through my good reputation. enough said, but it all builds on the community of regular users who would not compromise that reputation by letting fellow members down through a dodgy sale... thats what seperates this from a classified web site

Exactly Mark... were all here for the hobby and not to sell/trade at the end of the day. If i ever sell anything its only to get funds to go towards another item i need for a heli or something. And alot on here do the same, it just comes with the hobby. However for me its Forum first trading last... and this will all be reflected in the new system.
