About LinkBacksHad a little trip to the field today, it was -2 and a light 5mph or so breeze, and christ did it get your fingers numb quickly! Anyway, we had the 700 turbine out, and recorded a short flight. It's nothing that exciting, but I still love flying it - the smell of Jet A1 is like nothing else

It has plenty of power, but it is the best part of 7kg all up! It has also just had an ECU upgrade so it has Kero start now, no gas on board. It has meant we have to start again with the tweaks to get full power and response out of the engine, so there is a little more to come
