Well, I'm gob smacked! I was only thinking of him this morning when I posted a reply to a thread about the use of lipo's in DX6i. We had our 'fun' disagreements about the subject!!

RIP Tosh, and my condolences to your family

Laying my cards on the table here guys.

Do you know, when I first read some of Tosh's posts, I really decided I didn't like the guy. He was, on occasions, a bit inflammatory. I'd written him off as a "mate" if you like.

However, over time, I found out that in fact his bark was a lot worse than his bite. He grew on me if you will to the point that I discovered soon enough he was a decent guy after all.

It just goes to show that first impressions can be wrong. There's some truth in the old adage "Don't judge a book by its cover".

If anyone wants to start a collection for the family's charity of choice (I can't see Tosh wanting flowers?), put me down for a donation.

I'm actually close to tears here...is that daft or what?

Whether you did or did not know him, it is still an utter shock when something like this happens. Sincere condolences to the surviving family.
Life sometimes is shorter and briefer than we think, and after all, none of us know how long we are going to be here. So enjoy it while you can.
