Default Anyone using Thunder Power batts?

Looking for some serious feedback on them.

Yes I know they are expensive blah blah but they are regarded by many on the US forums as the best there is and after a post last night I have been looking around today to see what I can find.

The warranty is second to none etc but does anyone use them over here? Mainly 6s I'm interested in but any dealings would be great. Have you needed to use the warranty?
Are they better than anything you have used??

I'm surprised the Nano-Tech didn't explode in that video from the strain, well it would have got the more views...

Also note how they are very flat for 3S lipos??

    I'll get my coat..

ive used them on my Auroras as tx packs and now on my 700. to be fair ive not noticed them perform any better than any other packs ive used but then as a tx pack i wouldnt. but i can say ive had them longer than any other packs ive used and they havent puffed in the slightest and im still getting the same amount of flights after over a year of constant use.
    Good quality packs imo

Cheers. All helpful but hoping to hear from some flying them as main flight packs.

I take buying my lipos very seriously and look at them as an investment so want to gather as much info as poss to make a decision on buying some.

Perhaps you need to get some more info out of the optipower testers who told us it is very likely the high c rated packs were probably not achieved by the pack as a whole but only by a single cell in ideal conditions.

I've been using 3S 2250's on my 450 size heli's for over a year and they're still performing as good as when they were new. The cells also seem to stay balanced pretty well. No issues with them at all. good quality packs.

My friend has bought some and I think he flys them in his tdr 65c, he was the one that convinced me to go for them. He said there excellent! And can be charged at high c rating. 2 year warranty and 50% crash replacement! Worth wild investment! Heard you can get around 500 cycles.

Yea I too heard that but want seasoned info.

I not worried by charge rates as rarely go above 1c only sometimes using 2c but it's the performance during flight and life cycles I want

Ideally, what I would like to see is a data log 10 cycles in; abuse them for 6 months (2c charging at the field, stick to 20% rule etc), followed by another data log.

    Anyone got one?

Prof, you don't mess around lol.

Andy, I do have a hard time beleiving the 65c claims but one thing is I will never listen to one manufacturer say anything bad about the completion for obvious reasons, not that Andy (opti) would do I'm sure and it would be unfair to even ask.

I would just like to hear from non sponsored or asscioated pilots their feelings and thoughts on them. like I said, they have a great following on the freak just not in the UK.

I think the only way may be to grab some for myself but being honest I don't want to spend a small fortune on them to find they are not better or not much better than what I currently use. Premium packs are better than those considered not to be but just what are the differences between these premium priced packs?

To be fair to them, they do say on the video that you'll probably the the video is biased, so to do your own testing.

Also, the batteries reading 9-10V under load is due to them pulling about 90A+ from them. The more current you try to pull from a battery, the more the voltage drops due to internal resistance.
