Thread: Anti Spark devices

I've just been reading an article about the emcotec SPS anti sparking unit that prevents any sparks when connecting up Lipos on an electric heli, I was just curious if anyone is using one? and also if any other anti spark options are available??

Yes, I use the Emcotec SPS and it is more than just an anti-spark device.

You can avoid the spark just with a spare connector and a resitor, the SPS is a switch primarily with the anti-spark more of a bonus feature

Hi Mark, funny I just read that bit about the switch, my only concern is how to mount the magnetic switch on my 600E pro when I build it. The Emcotec doesn't look cheap but it does look a quality piece of kit.
