    here's a molt a month old of the Salmon Pink. The spider on the top container of the original photo is a Salmon Pink and on the bottom which you can't see is the chile rose. The Chile Rose is 15 years old! The Salmon Pink is about 3yrs old but bigger than my chile already.

    No sorry - I meant the molt is a month old. I missed the molting actually and probably found it a day later. The old skin was dry already and I had to soften it up by sticking it in a jar with a wet tissue for 3 days before I could reshape it. Unfortunately I couldn't do much with the abdomen area.

    I can understand about your wife. My girlfriend is not a big fan neither but the spiders are hardly ever noticed or touched so 75% of the time they were just in the corner of the guest bedroom on the floor and since I only feed them every month or something, we hardly know it's there. They're the easiest pet to have ever!
