Default Right aileron on negative pitch

    Hi all,

Dunno whether this is mechanical or beastx but my heli has started to tilt right on negative collective

It seemed to be fine up until last day or two. I tried really hard when i setup the head the other week to ensure everything was spot on level ... BeastX can't do leveling at top / bottom pitch only centre but its been fine.

It hovers fine, flies fine ... just definite lean right when i come down on the stick

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

Sounds mechanical or a problem with one of the servos.

What do you mean it cant do levelling at the top

Have you got the unit strapped ? Sometimes just a change of mounting pad solves things. A complete setup takes minutes once you know how to do it ;-)

Using 3m 4011 to hold it down. Servos are all new
Lie I said generally flies fine just has a decidedly tilt on negative pitch

With levelling I mean you can level swash at zero pitch but not at full top ad bottom pitch like with vbar

Will try rebinding and then setup again if it doesn't help

what heli is it the 450?

few things check swash level at 0 check bearings not notchy this tends to cause vibes which causes this kind of stuff (youll be suprised just what bad bearings will cause!) also what about phasing (may not be applicable if phasing arms are all one piece or DFC style head) ?

Like I said try a strap first it will eliminate any mounting pad issue. If the tilt is still there then it's a process of elimination to find what's causing it. As said above vibes will affect the unit

Ok. Main block bearings are only about 20 flights old. Tail bearings and tt ones are prob 85 or more flights old now. Since I built heli anyway
Head is brand new so new bearings all round. So will start with tail and tt

    Hmmm. Might be tt
Spooled up heli without blades and when it gets high throttle tt is buzzing so much it makes finger numb
Tail feels smooth still and very little slop so think I'll start with new bearings on tt

    So the tail's completely knackered...

Rear Umbrella gear is bent... bearings in casing are knackered as are the 2 on the end-caps, the rear shaft is slightly out of whack and all the bearings going up said shaft are notchy and sloppy

So total rebuild of tail unit ahead

    Thanks guys
