Can I ask a stupid question, is your DX6i ok for DSM? I bet it worked before and I just made a tit of myself, hehehehe.

I know the AR600 isn't compatible with the DX8 and I'm not sure about the DX6i.

    The AR600 is ok with a DX8, it's the AR6000 that isn't. The AR6000 was pre DSM2 and isn't produced anymore.

Have you got a rx battery pack you could try in place of the esc bec to eliminate a problem with the esc?

not quite what i meant but from that i assume its from an ESC(bec) which should be plugged into the throttle channel.not the battery port.

if you have a nimh battery around you could try and power up the rx from that(using the battery port) and see if that gives you power.

Great minds Boggy...off topic but you're not the same Boggy from SELOC, Pistonheads, etc are you?
