Default Settings Lost On DX6i = Poorly 450

So the boy bought his 450 home and said that it would not start, just a red light on Gyro and a repeating single tone.

After a phone call and some messing it looked like the throttle trim was at half, then after more investigation the rudder had been reversed then another setting out and another.

Initially the culprit looked like Jordan , but I can tell when he his trying to pull a fast one.

Got it over to Brian (man is a god) and pretty much all the settings had changed. In fact , it looked like the Phoenix sim settings and copied themselves over to his 450 settings.

Any idea or similar experiences? He flew it last sat and has not touched the radio since .

As a newbie or a oldbie as previously stated always do preflight checks on all of your models, this will tell you if there is a problem before you take off usually. with this case it seems weird because it was still bound, normally with specktrum it wouldnt bind on another model.

I have heard a number people describe similar symptoms. They all believe the scenario is, switch TX on, plug into sim, change to phoenix, switch off and in some cases, switch to another model whilst still off and plugged in, overwriting the stored settings with Phoenix ones.
