The blades do go the opposite way
The blades do go the opposite way
How fast does it piro when you take off? Is it extremely fast or slow?
Cheers
It's quick. As soon as I spool up and I crease the throttle slightly it starts on it merry way.
are you sure the tail is correcting the correct way when you manually yaw it on bench?
if you are i can't see anything else so wrong to cause this over a forum.
cheers
When I manually yaw it the blades go the same way as when I move the rudder stick.
So when I push the tail to the left the blades leading edge goes right
Could there be a problem with the gyro?? I didn't buy the gyro new but from a member on here
Matt
it is not likely the gyro is faulty based on what your saying it does on the bench.
do you have any trim/subtrim on the rudder channel or any switches that move the rudder?
if you shake the wires at the gyro end and rx end does it effect the gyro or the LED in anyway?
cheers
All trims etc are at zero
The wiring seams ok but I'll check it again
Redo the gyro setup one last time and at the end wait on the light to go solid violet before rebooting.
after this I'm out of ideas, would need to see it.
cheers
I agree with Paul, what your describing is exactly what he says, there is definately something amiss in your setup dude

Just got back from work.
I'll start from scratch and have another go.
Thanks for the help
It just has to be servo correction direction need reversing. This is done during the the gyro setup sequence not via and tx settings.
If this helicopter is a standard set up with the tail blades on the right of the boom viewed from the top, if you rotate the tail boom to the RIGHT by hand, the giro should compensate and move the tail pushrod towards the helicopter body (towards the front) If not the giro compensation needs reversing
Tried that and it does what it's supposed to.
I have just tried again and exactly the same result. I even reversed the set up with the gyro and it spun even quicker
I feel like launching it of a roof or something to see if it can fly by itself!!!!!!!!!!
You are going to have to take it to somebody who can "eyeball" it for you. Have a look to see if there are any clubs local to you. Here:
British Model Flying Association - BMFA - Search for affiliated clubs by county
it should be a smiple revers setting on the gyro m8 from the fiirst time you set up i would say if you have done this its a bad gyro retrun it there only 65 quid now new
i have had this problem lots and reversing direction on the gyro solves it
