Thanks for the heads up.
Question do you need to buy the flash link to use these properly?
Also do you rate these above an align750, or futaba 401 ?

They are a brilliant gyro and in my opinion they are better than the align750 and Futaba 401. They are also really easy to set up. As regards having to buy the flash link to use them properly, I didn`t update mine for a long time and it was absolutely fine, but did eventually buy the flashlink and did upload the latest firmware. However, if you buy a reconditioned one from Spartan or a second hand one from a fellow Heli addict, I am sure it will come with uptodate firmware or as close as possible and that will meet your needs. If you really wanted a flash link, for the price you will get a gyro at, the link is less than £20 I think.
You will not go wrong with a Spartan.
