    Default Spartan quark drift

    Hi

I Was flying my n5 today and the nose of the heli has a small drift to the right
it has never done that before just started today.
I have reset the gyro (quark) and it is still doing it !
Anybody got any sugestions on how to cure the problem

Setup gyro in rate mode mode and adjust tail mechanically

Vibration can cause this as well. Does this happen in all head speeds?

    • Try different tape.
    • Make sure the wires into the gyro are not too tight or transmitting vibes
    • something out of balance/loose

    Is the belt set correct?

    is it strapped down?

You sure no sub-trim/trim been added?

    What servo?

I re-bind whenever i make adjustments like these.

your mounting method needs addressed. drift right is the mount is normally too soft.

I can drop off some Lynx mounting tape i am using with great results. The Quark is an excellent gyro. Let me know if you need the tape and what time for.
