    Hi There
    I'm Wondering If Anyone Can Shed Any Light?
    I Have Flew My Raptor 30 For 10 Flights No Problem ,then Last Sunday After About 3 Mins Into A Flight, The Tail Started To Kick Sharply A Couple Of Times Over A Minute , It Would Only Kick Around About 3 Inches But Really Fast sometimes to the Left And then to the right Right.
    I Am Running The New Dsx9 And A Ar7000 , Csm 420 With 9202 All Round With The Align Reg And Fp Lipo With A Step Down On The 9254 On The Tail

    did the engine stutter for a fraction of a second...my 60 used to kick its tail a few inches when the engine stumbled....slight tuning of the engine smoothed it out and stopped the tail kick.
    Trex700e, V bar v5 pro,
    Trex450v2
    Trex 600esp....scorpion motor and 8s setup...hold tight....

      I've also seen a Raptor do this due to not enough tension in the tail belt, or a (single) missing tooth in a tail belt.

      May not be your cause, but worth checking.

        Is the motor running smooth? Missing engine disturbs the tail as the torque is not consistent.
        Check the belt tension (and for missing teeth)
        Lube the belt with some silicone spray, or mr sheen/pledge polish. Static can build up on the belt and discharge which upsets the gyro, this sort of lube helps.
        Was it a really dry clear day when this trouble started? Static is worse then.
        Also check the 9254, move the stick and feel the power of the servo. A dodgy 9254 sometimes has a dead spot near the middle where it has no power, and tail kicking can be the servo stopping working and starting again. If its this, don't fly - swap the servo out!

          Thanks For The Prompt Replies
          I Have Checked The Belt , Tension Is Fine And All The Teeth On The Belt Are Present
          Sprayed Some Mr Sheen On The Belt And Checked My 9254 Near Center Which Seems Nice And Strong
          So I Guess I Will Have To Wait Until Weekend Weather Permitting?
          To See If It Is Static Upsetting The Gyro?
          I Wil Keep You Posted

          Ps As Regard To The Engine Spluttering ? It Didn't Seem Too
          Also Yes It Was Clear Hot Dry Day
          I Think I Am Also Going To Change The Glow Plug And Get My Headloaders On The Engine

            Been Flyin Today With No Problems
            I Sprayed Mr Sheen On The Belt
            So I Can Only Put It Down To Possible Static Upsetting The Gyro Or The Really Hot Weather Upsetting The Engine
