MCPX beginner setup for DX7

Want to tame down my blade for easier learning. Any video setups or links for a DX7 chaps?

I thought it was quite managable on the stock DX7 setting. Perhaps increasing the DR or reducing the pitch range would help, but I wouldnt bother adding too much expo.

I'm a novice! Just need to tame it down so I can learn nose in and figure of 8.
