FAKE gyros now on the flea.

Hi all, here is a Futaba GY401 that I got off eflea a few weeks back for my T-Rex. Picture 473.jpg
Smart, as you can see the nice big nut in there, Its lucky I did not put it on my T-Rex, I should know better tho cos it was cheap, I also gave him good feedback as well

Well I only connected it up to see if it was all working which it is and I was not fitting it for a few weeks so I gave him the good feedback.
Anyway he is selling lots of spektrums recivers on the flea now so just be careful...

Saw this same thing over on heliguy about a year ago. eBay were not interested when reported. Don't know if it's the same seller but should always live by the rule that if it appears too good to be true then it probably is ;-)

Yeah I know, I blame myself , just sent him a note. I really just put it on here just to let other heli flyers know there on the flea at the moment and to be careful :-)

It's always a wise move to pay for EVERYTHING on credit card.

A quick call to the bank and you will have your money back.

As Milly said there was a few guys over on Heliguy who were ripped off and the authority's didn't want to know.
If I remember correctly the seller was in Birmingham

yes its a hobbywing gyro rebadged to look like a 401 the nut is to make them feel the same weight.

Exactly !! At least this one has a nice new shiny nut lol the ones on HG were rusty.

Hi all, I have never put a claim in lol , he now has took them all off the bay and he sent me half my money and said he will give me the rest next week he also said, he thought they were all ok.

I bought a fake rx a while ago. Go to paypal and get your money back. I think you have 45 days to file a claim?
Ebay also ignored my emails.

Yeah I bought a fake RX too a while back, didn't know until I had a lock out at my local park with the 450 which nearly totalled it. Sent it to HH who quickly and nicely responded saying it was a fake and to always buy from approved sellers so do from now on.
