Me too but wondered why no one is recommending them anymore? Could just be my perception?

It's pointless buying one these days imo as you get more tweaking options like individual EP's with most other gyro's often at a cheaper price. I still use 2 though, one in my Airwolf & one in my Gaui but i've had them both for 4.5yrs now & they work so i use them. You wont hear much gyro talk anymore anyway as most have moved over to the dark side of FBL.

Nothing wrong with the 401 it was top of the pile for years. It's just that the newer gyros have many more adjustable parameters inc limits both sides on tail. servo frequency etc etc. still a stalwart for many tho .

I still use them but wouldn't buy another now as there are many better at same or cheaper prices
