It is one serious brick sized speed controller, that is for sure.

I am waiting to see what a 90-100A LV version will look like.

Be careful on the BEC rating. The 15A figure is peak, which usually means it cannot be sustained for very long. The continuous would be of more interest.

Yer i suppose it would be around that, i didnt realise it was the peak current until andy said it was, suppose a cc bec pro would be a good choice to use!!!

    Really lol

I think the BEC will be fine but just need the confirmation otherwise it would be pointless.

As the Jive is rated at 5A with a 15A peak and I have seen some serious stick banging on 90 sized models then the internal bec will be fine if it has the same or exceeds that of the Jive. I would hope you don't need to use an external bec, that kind of defeats the object when the overall size of this thing big.

Yes, many dont trust internals at all, just I would not use a CC BEC pro after mine went pop on 12s.

a WR would be my choice if using an external, but I use KT as I want the internal BEC so if the Scorpion can offer the same performance then thats where my money will be going

As a straight comparison of current capability and BEC performance this unit is $200 cheaper. As you say if it does work as well as a KT then it will be a very good buy. On top of that it has the phase sensor built in for v-bar governor hookup.
