Spec is great, just have to figure out where to put the monster on some helis as 90mm main body plus the inflexible section of the cable where the 'anti-spark' is fitted makes for quite a challenge.

You can remove the anti-spark no problem. Mr Mel has been testing these things extensively and he has some HV servos and has not had a problem with the BEC what so ever. I have even heard that Bert K has been using one of these and is suitably impressed (although this is third hand so don't quote me on it).

Ive just had mine delivered today. So far I really like what I have seen. It is being fitted to my Fusion and it goes on without any dramas. Can't wait to get this thing airborne as if this thing works as well as it sounds like it will then Kontronik, YGE, CC and the like had better watch out. The only thing missing which would make this seriously the cat's meow is a logging facility.

I seen this up close recently when I got a mates delivered with my N2 and it's huge! The guy who bought it ran his Heli off a 2s lipo as he wouldn't trust a BEC (internal or external) as far as he can throw one but there is some people having success with them

Be aware though that the soft start on it is pretty poor and I'm sure Martin done a set of tail blades on his E7 because of it!

The soft start out of the box is prety dangerous but when it's updated to the latest firmware it's brilliant & equally as good as any of the align soft starts. I've only had 4 flights on the heli that this 130a scorpion controler is in but so far no dramas at all. The vbar gov works superbly in conjunction with it & I'm using the BEC on it also without any problems. Scorpions after sales is also very good one email to them sorted me afast airmail replacement of my v-link cable that was found to be DOA so altogether I feel they are doing all they can to support their customers
