The Airwolf has not been flown for a couple of years now and I have now decided it's time for it to go.

It was only ever used on the annual club scale fun fly so has not really had a great deal of use.

This custom conversion uses the original T Rex600E with original 600XL motor and 75A ESC and has a Spektrum AR9000 9ch receiver and JR DS811 servo's on cyclic and DS8700 on the tail.The gyro is a JR G490T.

An Eagletree Flightlogger is installed as is a custom built board for the retracts and boards for the fully working navlights,beacon and strobe.

It is more or less bind and fly with a slight bit of tweeking needed and some channel mixing to get the nav lights to come on when the pitch control is operated.

A pair of Flightpower Evolite 5350mAh and some Align packs that I had been using are included as is the white main Align blades and a pair of black 600 sized NHP's.

I'm looking for £525.00 for the helicopter and it may be collection only due to its fragile nature - unless something can be worked out.

Hi malc, possible silly question....does it all still work ok if it's not been flown for a couple of years? Would it work with my DX6i or would a i need 7 channels?

Hi Matt

Yeah I powered it up this afternoon and didn't even have to charge up the Align reciever pack.All working OK but didn't fly it as I was at work.

You'll need 8 channels really and be able to mix the aux channel with another one to use the nav lights as they are now.

edit.....Sorry guys but I just been through my own build thread to check something out - there is a Spektrum AR9000 9ch receiver in the heli and not a 7ch as first thought.You may need a 9ch transmitter as set up at the moment.

put the lights on a switch and your back to a dx7. just because its a 9 ch rx it doesn't require a 9 ch tx a 7 would do.

my sincere apologies....please put it down to ignorance and thinking out loud......Malc had said that you would need a 9 channel tx so was merely trying to work it out, was not for one second intentionally breaking the rules. it won't happen again
