I've seen a couple of Goblin pictures that show the rear lipo mounted with the battery wires exiting backwards, that is going to need a fairly long run of cable to the ESC at the front.
If that is the only practical way to mount the packs I'd be inclined to suggest using the optional capacitor pack on a CC ESC as they really do seem to still be somewhat sensitive to long pack wires.
To be honest though, given the location of the ESC and the typical failure mode of a CC HV ESC, I'd probably not want to put a CC ESC in this model in the first place.
Last thing you need is a flaming ESC under the packs ...
I really don't know why people still use/buy CC Esc I would never buy or use one on any heli!
Current helis: I only need one heli and thats the
SAB Goblin 700, MKS950 cyclic, MKS980 on the tail,Vbar Silverline PRO, Kontronik Kosmik 160HV, Quantum 4530- 500kv "Goblin Edition" , powered by 12's Giant Power 5000mah 50c's.

If you read the whole thread he clearly states he has a short in the motor, not sure any ESC would do anything but burn under those conditions....
A short in the motor on a Kontronik will result in a shutdown causing a forced auto and giving an error code on the led.
This same thing happened to Sesame the other week, motor went for repair and it was confirmed as a short in the motor.

So the ESC is not at fault? Why doesn't the thread say "motor short causes Castle fire"?
Bit unfair by the sounds of it.

The ESC was unable to detect the condition fast enough and went up in smoke. It looks like CC still have a little work to do in that area.
A good ESC should shut down in case of motor short, not burn.

He only added that bit after most people had posted today, but that still isn't the point of concern.
The problem with CC ESC remains their failure mode, not that they fail.
I genuinely believe they are no more likely to 'fail' than for example a Kontronik Jive, but when they do fail they have a tendency to go up in flames. The Kontronik will shut down and leave you with an unexpected auto, or will fail to get you off the ground in the first place, but the blinking LED will give you a good clue about what went wrong.
