Even my first Vision Ultimate flew better than most of the models that I have owned.

The main disadvantage to owning an Elyq is what airframes sell for secondhand. Didnt interest me at all after I noticed people were struggling to shift the 90 nitro version for £120 delivered!

personally I'd recommend flybarred, then flybarless. Not because of any difficulty, I just think it's help to build and set up a flybarred head first so you have a good understanding of all the geometry involved. Then you can upgrade later. FBL tends to be a little more pricey, but not by much (unless you go VBar etc), but there are less moving parts in the head, so lighter and less to replace in a crash.

Plus FBL has the obvious bonus of extra precision and agility.

It's different. The head geometry on flybarless is much simpler and easier to get done right. It's the programming of the unit that takes time.

You could do a lot worse than this one:

Raptor 50 Titan ARTF + RL53 Engine, RL Pipe, TG7000 Gyro

I loved my vision 50 comp until i smashed it up bad, and then the spares prices made it a right off. Raptor is defo tougher but heavy and slower, but can still cut it in the right hands
