Exclamation Brand new Honey Bee CP3 won't work. RED LIGHT ON

So I got my Honey Bee CP3 today. I wanned to take it out for a fly but when i set up everything (followed instructions on manual) the red light turns on (should be green) and won't spin the blades only move the angle part. I tried re-bounding it but the same thing happens. Please answer me on how to fix this ASAP!

Have you switched the throttle on with the switch?

Don't know if i'm telling you how to suck eggs and i don't even have a cp heli yet but there should be a throttle switch on the Tx, Make sure the left stick is in the center and flick the switch to start the throttle. Then make sure you switch it off again before you come piling into the ground!

I found out that you once you turn on the heli theres a safety fuetere which means you have to turn your throttle switch down to the bottom, then turn it up to make it go spinn.

I had this problem ages ago when i had a honeybee cp2. Never flew it. I had the red light and was told to play around on the tabs inside the small flap on the transmitter. Didn't turn out good though is it spooled up full throttle in my house and almost hit me LOL

With any case like this where you buy something that doesn't work the Sale of goods act is there to protect you. Take it (them) back to the shop you got it from and tell them it doesn't work and they should either make it work or give you a refund; any feedback saying you need to send it back to the Manufacturer / Importer is wrong - they sold it you it is their responsibility.

With all due respect, whoever told the OP that the Honey Bee is a decent helicopter does not know much about helis. Would have been far better off buying a MCPX. If the HB is faulty, take it back, get your money back, and buy something decent!

I think your talking about throttle hold but your getting yourself confused, you should always have your throttle at low stick before coming out of hold. Otherwise unless you have a soft start setup on your esc the Heli will most likely eat itself when the motor kicks in!

As has been said, if it's nt working, take it back to the shop and make sure you do plenty of reading before you try to take off for the first time or it will end in tears!!!

Flick the Idle switch off (away from you), and have the left throttle stick at 0 (right down).
