Thanks - we like the concept of having 10 elements - but with only 8 needing to be completed thus allowing flyers to mix up the last 6 elements. This will work well with more scale enthusiasts as well as giving added variety to suit weather conditions.
A final level is being built also which is more focused on 'Public' flying events.

How hard?! I'll never get to fly in public !!!
What I am unsure about with this document and the previouus one is you show the wind direction. For what reason have you done this? Should it not be down to the skill of the pilot to explain he is moving off in a certain direction because of the wind direction and this should possibly form part of the test?
MK is a fairly typical field with the prevailing wind being south westerly it is left to right not right to left as you have it in your document.
Fine - common sense dictates that not all examinations will be able to done in the ideal format as described. We've focused on using graphics and a more detailed description to help have less confusions.
As we say, "Ensure this is performed ideally into the wind and not facing directly into the sun." - not everything can be ideal.....
We are working on the examiners notes that will be avialable on request for examiners soon enough.
