Thread: Guinness World Record Attempts for 2012

Okay guys were in the last few weeks - weathers on the up and the fun is getting so close....

To try and make the admin end quicker if your looking to take part in the Guinness World Record Attempts please goto the link below and fill out the form ASAP.

You will like last year need to sign a logbook and complete a form on arrival these match up with the info provided via the online form, we can do it manually on site but this way does make it quicker - even if your looking to attend but might have to dropout its better we have a maximum potential no attending for the events for spacing and do I need to buy a quadbike to run the length of it....lol

In 2010 we set the first ever Guinness World Record for the Most Hovering in 2011 we broke it and set a new one and in 2012 we really want to reach 60+ pilots if not more we had over this at the event as a whole last year so we know that with your support we can do it even bigger and better this month.

We've got alot going on this year inc the RCHA Cup and still the drag race and fun its all about fun no pressure to fly out your skins we leave that to the featured guests ' Timo and Simone' to have some fun talking and watching them as well as everyone else.

We have a bit of a dispute with GWR over the two other records for 2011 for Scale and Inverted - but we managed to get them to accept the inverted as a record attempt but they have now set a minimum requirement of 20 Helicopters - now we would have had this but a few had to drop out last year so lets.

"Make it Happen" in 2012 and get an additional World Record under our belt. For the Scale its more about terminalogy used and we are hoping that rather than the term 'Scale' being used they will accept the term 'Replica' but as usual with GWR its all done via there online response system via snail delivery.

As per our chat earlier - plans have changed so I'm really happy to say that I will be there to add another certificate to the one I got last year!

If there is anyone else out there that is "thinking" of coming along - then do it 'cos if last year is anything to go by, it will be epic!

He he laurence ill be building my E720 at the event so we can have some laughs at my building technique infact if Lee gets his way i bet he will demand that he builds it to his level... as he knows my wiring is pants...lol
