    Default BAE Hawk

    Evening all!

Been busy beavering away building a depron Hawk, after the F-14 swing wing showed my how versatile depron was.

Specs - 33 inch span, AUW about 550 grams, 2212-06 2200kV motor and 6*5 prop in a pusher, Ailerons, elevator, no rudder - but may do one later, 40A ESC, 2200 3S packs (shared with 450 Pro and Recycloquad)

    Sure have:
BAE Hawk / T-45 Goshawk 26" WS Full Fuse Plans Pics and Video - RC Groups made a few changes, scaled it up to 130% of the plans, changed the top section slightly to make it less boxy.
    Looking forward to trying it!

Managed to get a maiden in tonight. A few issues, with full throws it was twitchy as hell, managed to rip the nose off on landing!
Bit of tape later, proper maiden, but then electrical fault so had to dead stick in. I'll resolder everything and increase the elevator throw, and beef up the wings - they both cracked!

Nice plane to fly though, not bad for about £30 all in.
