Thread: DX5e for Phoenix

I’m getting tired of dragging my DX8 to and from Glasgow on the EZY flight. I haven’t used a DX5e with Phoenix so I don’t know how well it will work. All I need it a tx that I can use to instil muscle memory. Does the DX5e have an idle up switch to allow for inverted flying? Will I find it hard to fly with a DX5e after using a DX8 with the sim?

If I remember correctly I believe the idle up switch on the dx5e activates the stunt mode, which should let you do all your inverted stuff. But I found that it has set dual rates and expo which didn't feel very nice to me. Hope this helps.
