Default Velocity / Fusion owners, a quick favour please.

Ive just got a new Velocity N2 and I'm not too happy with the fact that the canopy pushes on to 4 rubber gromets rather than the old way of thumb screws on the V2 & Fusion. My new canopy is already starting to crack from being forced on & off despite liberal amounts of grease and Ive only flown it a couple of times.

So I'd rather go back to the old style screws & I'm thinking that I could fit the canopy stand offs from a Fusion or V2 but as they are in slightly different places on the frame I'm not sure they'll fit, so I wonder if someone could measure theirs for me. I'd like the distance from the break away tab to the end of both the front and back ones please.

No problems here with the push on type, make sure to ca glue the inside of the canopy about an inch around the hole

if your feeling flush you could purchase some quick uk magnetic canopy mounts. They work brilliantly on my 600 and 6hv and no more cracks

I did try and reem them out a bit Pete but they seem like a much harder rubber than the older kits had on them so you get to a stage where they go on easy but dont feel like theyre going to stay on when the going gets tough!

Ha! No worries fella I'm not sure theyd work anyway because of the angle of the holes!
