Post YOUR fusion 50 spec and pictures please!

After reading the stuff on RR I am keeping the white gears on for the moment. The mesh is quite tight on all the gears. There's no backlash at all on the gears in the tail case so no need for the shims as yet. The front gear was a tight mesh due I think to not using the stock frames (I am using the bright yellow Fusuno frames) so I ground just a tiny bit off the backside of the holes in the frames for the tail unit so there's some room for adjustment. All round the mesh is on the tight side so I hope they'll bed in a bit. I might post something on RR for an opinion on that.

I'm still undecided on whether to go Fusion 50 fbl or Furion 6. Interesting post by Trillian to give me something to think about. My set-up will be Scorpion 4025, Castle 120a esc, Castle bec pro, ds610's (one still required) ds650, 3GX, blades, batts, 6s or 12s TBC. I'm assuming both will run on a 6s or 12s set-up?

I have decided on a motor and it is a Outrage 4125-560,just ordered from Evo RC.

Also CC Ice 2 80HV ESC,CC Pro Bec and a nice blue set of Align servo wheels from Align-Trex.co.uk

well i have a fusion... Started to build it yesterday....have a few bits and pieces found a mached set of S148's i think they will work for cyclics at 12 v.... and a sail winch should be ok for rudder .....

just collecting bits at the moment have servos and esc need motor was going to make it a 6s setup and see how it goes i dont have motor yet was thinking of an OS55 but i cant find an opti pack with a fitting for a clunk line or pressure pipe so may have to settle for a outragous motor or scorpion SC-HK4035-500KV .... but i cant see the mounting holes on either of them for a hatori that i have spare and then i will need a battery or five was thinking s 2s would be fine but not sure that the contronic battery charger will work properly with one of them as it isnt made of lego....

You're not suffering from 'Fusion fatigue' by any chance? It's very similar to MCPX fatigue but is a relatively new phenomenon.

Steve,I think you will find that the Hatori fits in-between the batteries on a 12 s set up,It sometimes can be missed as the Wren Turbine can block the view.As to your sail winch,which one will you be using?Are going for the Anderson 12ST or maybe the Barton Sheet winch.I do prefer the Anderson though..
The 2 s battery option you were thinking of is completely ludicrous the only way to go is with the EFlite 1s 200mah.I'm sure you can manage with 12 in series and 20 in parallel.
I have also converted my Casio Scientific Calculator so it will act as a 200 HV ESC with onboard Gov and Bec (video and build review to follow in a year or two).
I am hopefully going to maiden mine sometime in the next millenium.

I got the servos in and setup this-morning as well as the TotalG (bit of a squeeze )
Just the sats and esc to go now before the fbl setup

Should be up and going for Charmouth

Thought I would add my specs

Scorpion HKIII-4035-500kv Motor with 14 tooth pinion,
Castle creations HV80, (Governor mode)1900,2100,2150rpm
Gryphon Quasar Hyper HV BEC

(GSR-7075 LMT), set to 6.8v

Vbar 5.2,
620 Spin Blades,
BLS 451 cyclic, (Align servo wheels) at 6.8v
BLS 256 HV tail servo, at 6.8v

So overpowered its untrue, and totally not needed but WOW,OMG,

14 deg of pitch and it just keeps climbing and out of sight in seconds.
