nice one, i know the costs seem like they are mounting up but you would need this stuff regardless what cells you went with so it was a required spend regardless. your on the steepest part of the learning curve here but once you get head round watts/amps/volts etc it all makes sense.

Not wanting to confuse you any more but here is an alternative to the PSU you have listed which is a bit cheaper

DELL PowerEdge 6650 POWER SUPPLY [7000245-0000] | eBay

Its a server PSU rated at 900Watts and should you ever need 24V you can just buy another and connect them in series.

Admittedly its not a stand alone PSU with all the connections there ready to use but it is very easy to adapt to charge lipos. For the money it is ecellent quality and provides a lot of power. I have one of these myself and it does its job perfectly and so I could also give you any help you would need to get it connected up.

It's only capable of charging 10cells.

..but you could use a parallel board to charge 2 packs at the same time.

10s chargers usually crop up on here for £80-£90.

A superb charger but I would save the extra and go for one of their powerlab series, the pl6 is superb but then the Icharger you pointed to is good too.

It is an excellent quality charger and the price has been reduced as there is a newer model available.

Main reason I wouldn't select it for 6S parallel charging is that it is really only a 200W charger and you'll need to get an extra balance board for it as you can't just plug a parallel board straight into it.

The 10s is 300w? I'll double check. Fine for 1c charging, but a PL6 is a better choice, but more money.

You can also buy the lead to go from a cellpro straight into a parallel board. It must maintain the FMA wiring node I would imagine..

Regarding the PSU, the 10s needs 15v to be able to reach the full 300W it can deliver.

You can make a 12v PSU for £30-£
40 easy enough, but your max charge rate will reduce.

Edit- 3300 packs will be fine at 12v.

to keep this simple, you only have 2 charger choices really. you either buy the powerlab 6 with some extra wedge or buy that 300w I charger, don't bother with anything else.

the PSU as mentioned many time can be a server PSU from ebay.

This has been working great for me, in fact I have two of them on the charging bench at the office.

I flew my Fusion for the first time yesterday! Insane! I've got a Hobbywing 70A and a 4025-550 motor... and everything came down cool after 4 minutes!

Im also running on these packs...BQY 3300mAh 22.2V 6S 6CELL 35C max 40C battery lipo AKKU For RC HELICOPTER | eBay for £20 each.. even if i get 20-30 good flights out of them.. that's still around £2 a flight!

    Bloody awesome heli!
