Contact optipower... I'm sure they'd be more than happy to swap some for free advertising.

I had buckers do a canopy for me and wanted him to do another but he said that he had been approached !!! Maybe they're not so keen on free advertising after all ?

sounds rather odd, so he painted their logo on a canopy and they werent happy? eh!

Pathetic!!! I wonder why? Because they did'nt get any money from it maybe!!

I doubt it's about money, Opti don't sell branded canopies. More likely about the canopies being used to identify sponsored pilots, and that kind of blurs the lines.

Back on topic, I do remember the old website having a news bulletin saying about decals being available shortly; I'm sure a quick pm to avroboy (Andy Hinton-lever) would sort something out

I did think it a little strange as i use optipower lipos too but maybe its because im not a 3d king and i might make them look bad LOL
Guess ill have to peel off the scorpion, and Beast X decals too LMAO

Andy is a very nice guy and he will help if he can you must respect the guys who is sponsored buy them if you just paint one without Andy saying i is ok they thats is copyright law, jst send Andy a pm, my club is sponsored by Andy for the world record attempt and he is a great guy just ask him.

Ok I can maybe understand not having them identical to the sponsored guys in a way... but it's kind of douchey.... not what I expected from Optipower to be honest.

You would have thought they'd be glad of the publicity as a relatively new brand.

I appreciate that Rachel. I just think the colours are great for orientation and tbh they look pretty cool too IMO.
Didn't think some free publicity would hurt either and they don't have to pay for my canopies either lol
