Hello,
My name is Liam,i'm was 13 on Monday! I've been into RC's for years now. I started off with a rc car, a rc18t to be exact. It was a blast! Yes it was brushed and on 27mhz but it was a blast. I wanted more... So i saved up and brought a brushless set up, after a while i kept getting interference so i decided to buy a spektrum dx3e. That kept me going until last year when after much ragging around it was tired. It's now on a nice shelf in my bedroom, deprived of its electronics. So i brought a TT01 and a brushless set up, its now being fully rebuilt with fresh bearings and a few upgrades to replace the worn out plastic parts. Now, at christmas 2011 i asked for a Dynam hawk sky glider. And well after a lot of asking and showing my parents vids i managed to get them to buy it for me for christmas. Well, i was fine flying that until last month when the weather started to turn very windy and rainy. (Surprising as i flew from new years day with out much of a weather problem) And so far i've not taken it out in june. Well i asked for a RTF Blade MCX2 for my birthday as i was getting tired of not having any RC aviation in me and only a RC car running. So i decided to ask for the MCX2. Well I got it!
Now that was on monday!
I'd just like to point out that i pay for this hobby out of all of my own money, as i do with my phone contract (parents said they'll pay £10). I do this by :
I did have a newspaper round until march (the shop closed down DAMN RESSESION)
Washing parents, sisters or neighbors cars!
Well i'm going to my LHS to check out the DX6i as i've wanted one for a while for my plane and with a helicopter now its doubled the want for it!
Well thats my RC life story. A few other facts about me is:
My parents own a second house in Portugal
I have 4 cat's (1 loves the wind off my mcx2)
I ride on average 30 miles a weak of my bike for transport.
I'm a Army cadet!
Well hope that's bored you,
Liam
