New member here from Colchester, Essex,
I've been fascinated by RC heli's for many years but have never got round to doing anything about them, that is until now!
Popped into a hobby shop in Chelmsford on my way home from work last month and bought a Blade SR. Big mistake, completely out of my depth with that thing, but I will not let it defeat me although it's currently in a Colchester model shop (unsure if I can name shops here) under repair.
Realising that I'm out of my depth I went into my local shop who recommended to me an Evo.4, which turns out that it's the amazing V911 fixed pitch heli. What a great bit of kit that is. I love it, although after many crashes the PCB appears to be somewhat broken so I've ordered another heli only one from China.
So, being bored and still not comfortable with the SR I popped out and bought an MCPx. What fun that bad boy is! So much fun that I've broken the frame and tail boom after one too many heavy crashes indoors. So that's currently with the SR being repaired.
That's my heli history so far!
