I started this when I was 50 which only meant that I didnt have time too mess about with them little garden models for too long, I suffered that stage for about 2 weeks, then got me a helicopter, joined a club and got some lessons, no point owning em and not being able to fly em, I hope you enjoy the hobby as I do.......

Practice, perseverence and a cheap-to-fix heli is what you need. Phoenix will save you a lot in the long run. All the best.

I am 65 took it up 3 years ago, got 2 x Trex 600, 1 x Trex 700, 1 x Trex 500, 1 x Velocity 90, I can roll, loop, flip, stall turn etc. etc. etc finding inverted a bit hard but I will get there. Age is no barrier, so far!!
