I just called in a lidl store in Honiton and they have 2800w (2600w continuous) 4stroke generators for £179. It has an external frame and two small wheels for moving it around.Its made by Parkside which I think is their own make?

Looks pretty neat actually. I could be tempted to give one a go. For the amount I would actually use one it would be pointless spending a grand on a Honda. For occasional use at the field and at fly ins this could be ideal.Harry

Am I right in thinking it would therefore give 10amps at 240v with 2600w? That's enough to power a PL8 and charge some 5200mAh in short timePaul
