    MCPX V2 3 in 1 main controller, same as V1?

    Hi all,
    Sorry if this question has been posted before. The 3 in 1 main controller on my MCPX v2 stopped working and I am considering getting a used MCPX that I can use for spares. There seem to be plenty of used V1s around, but I am not sure whether the main controller board is the same as in V2. Does anybody know whether the 3 in 1 main controller board for the MCPX V2 is the same as that for V1? thanks in advance.

    I think they're the same physically but the V2 has improved programming

      the gyro chips are different, the V2 is more sensitive to vibration and the programming for the tail is different in some way, but its nothing to really worry about unless you plan to upgrade to a brushless motor at some point. anything stronger than a C05 and u could run into problems though some have had success.

      what do mean your 3in1 has stopped working, whats up with it? it may be possible to repair it quite easily depending on the fault.
