    V bar gov and YS120

    Could anyone using this combination give me their gov settings please, need a rough guideline as to where the gains/low throttle % need to be?
    Having a little problem where it seems to come off the gov when the engine unloads, top of a climbout, bottom of a rapid descent. ive played with the gov gain and low throttle %'s but they have little effect. Is there something else i need to adjust.
    I read something a few days ago about having to set something slightly different when using a YS120 but cant seem to find it now.

    I ran around -40 on the low setting think G is around the same. Gain dependant on servo used, if it's not hunting that's the sweet spot.

      Cheers mike, did you have the same prob then, leading you to lower the low throttle % ?

        Yes I have and not just on the YS120 tbh, I found the low was the culprit just too low as you say unload the disc power drops too far then if loading the engine can struggle coming back up. I've helped a few club members with there gov and pretty much defaulted to -40 from the start now.

          Both my OS91 and YS120 are at -40 low throttle, made a world of difference to the gov when Mj looked at that, I've also upped the gov gain a little as well but can't give you a figure T as am off shore at the moment.
          The gov is working perfectly though on all our nitros and as Mj has said above -40/30 is where it needs to be. :-)
