    Think I just seen a spitfire

    Is there an event in Crewe?
    Just seen what looked to be a spitfire do a tight turn.
    I was a bit late getting out so it's in the distance.

    I can't tell from the pic but the sound of that Merlin engine is awesome and unmistakeable ;) then again it could be Kev davies raptor less its pipe lol

      It certainly made a beautiful thunderous sound.
      I'm 95% certain it was a spitfire.
      Damn I wish I took a pic quicker but the way it banked I thought it was coming right back overhead.

        Just incase anyone is interested a customer told me today it was a hurricane that someone managed to get to so a fly over at some fate in Holmes chapel.

            I just saw it from the beach at lee on Solent ........ I wondered why such a big plane was so low

              The Lanc flew over us at Beaulieu National Motor Museum - it was being attacked by a crow at the time too
