    Hitec Aurora 9 Throttle Trim Help

    This is on a nitro heli, when I come up on the throttle trim on the front of the tx i've just realised it is also controlling pitch so as you come up on the throttle trim the swash is also moving up.
    Was trying to work out why when I went from normal to idle 1 the heli would drop and then realised that there is no throttle trim in idle 1 therefore the swash drops etc.

    Anyone know how to set up the trim switch on a Aurora 9 so it's only controlling the throttle servo?

    I can't find it anywhere in the menus unless I've just been using my man eyes!

    I don't see this behaviour with my A9, have you got the channel assignments set correctly? No mixing setup anywhere?

    If you look in the monitor screen and increase the throttle trim, do you see both pit/thr channels increasing?

      On the throttle curve & pitch curve have you got them set as - C combined or S Single as this can affect things

        The C/S only carries/seperates the curves across flight modes though, that wouldn't link thr/pit trims.

        I remember reading something about the priority of the channels in the mappings, I'm wondering if the pitch channel is above the thro channel in the mapping, the trim will then apply to the pitch and not throttle?

        I've never needed to move the chans about on my nitro stuff, only on my electric helis which wouldn't use throttle trims.
