Kds flymentor

Can anyone tell me how I can turn it of and still use the gyro I am using the ppc programmer with it I read that the higher I go with manual override in expert the more control you get but it's still fighting me for ccontrol any ideas

AFAIK you can't disable the Flymentor as such using manual overide - it just changes the point at which the stick movement overides the Flymentor for control, so if at any point your stick is central (no user-input) then the Flymentor tries to self-level.

You can turn the self-levelling off by setting 'gyro sense' to '0', (default is +70) This will leave the rudder portion working but not the self-levelling (which kind of defeats the point of having a flymentor installed in the first place...)
