    Quark on a Vibe 50

    Just a quick one here

    Ive got a quark and 9254 on my Vibe 50. And the piro rate is slow as in less than 360* per sec. I have tried upping the end points on rudder channel and it didnt make an ounce of difference.

    I have since removed the expo in the gyro and told it the exact servo via the flash link, I just wondered if theres anything im missing to speed the tail up?
    Some say my left nipple is the shape of a Raptor canopy.......... And that for fun I chase sheep in wellies 3 sizes too big. All I know is I am ​3D Clod

    It's strange that it didn't make any difference upping the end points. I am still fine-tuning my Rave ENV and had a slow piro rate to begin with as I set the travel at 90 as a starting point. Upping the rudder travel adjust from 90 to 100 made a huge difference.

    ---Forgot to mention, this is with the Spartan 760 and a 9254.

      yeah the 760 on my raptor andd vibe 90's piro like madmen but for some reason the quark is proper slow on the 50. Just means I cant do many piro involved aerobatics till I speed it up. Hopefully ill have it cured when I rebuild the heli, cos im struggling with the revlock on it too increasing the travel on the radio didnt speed the headspeed none

            No? We've all done stupid stuff like that..or spent a week hunting a problem before finding the crack in the bell crank (or in my case a clutch shoe despite looking three times before)

                    took it to 130 and still no appreciable increase. Ill have a propper fiddle with it when I put it back together as its currently been "Kev'd" and in need of the sticky out bits bolting back on!

                        Oh yeah, the 770 will certainly do the job, the body of the heli will spin nearly as fast as the rotorblades! It has some strange firmware when it comes to the piro rate but does work very well once you get a handle on it.

                            Yeah there must be a setting somewhere that is limiting the rate. It has been a while since I set the last one up so I don't remember what things you can change.

                              I've got an unused 401b gyro here you could borrow.. that should give you really fast piro rates...(whether you want to piro or not)
