    250 fbl + dx7s help please

    Hi Guys. I have a second hand 250 fbl with spek 6110 receiver and 3g fbl unit.
    I'm trying to set it up with my dx7s but it's so confusing.. For instance when moving elevator forward, the pitch on the blades increase and the opposite on reverse. The heli just wants to commit hari kiri on spool up..
    Does anyone have settings for the dx7s and the 250 please ?

      Hey, the pitch on the blades is supposed to change when you move the elevator when the blades are perpendicular to the boom, so that is not necessarily what is wrong.
      Unfortunately, you can't just copy someone else's settings on a 250 (like you can with your Blades) as the specific settings will depend on which servos you have and the mechanical setup of the machine. Sounds like you need to do a full setup from scratch.

          You also followed 3G's set up correctly as 1 small thing wrong screws it up completely!

            I have to set the 3g as well ? Oh crikey.. How do i do that ? I love my Nano more and more....

            I've downloaded the manual for the 3G unit.. Shucks, this is going to be fun lol..

              Hey.

              The 3G is going to need setting up and programming to the model type and transmitter used as well to some extent.

              With the instructions you can follow through the DIR setup mode step by step. The 3G needs to know overall travel limits, set during the first step, as well as the swashplate type being used (on the 250 this is 3 servo 120 degree eCCPM) and cyclic gyro compensation directions.

              I would advise starting with a clean model memory and then going through the instructions. Disconnect 2 of the motor wires to avoid any motor startups while doing this.
