Do not copy these files directly to your helicopter. You must first complete the Vbar setup steps in the software on your model and then copy only the parameters that you require!! Be sure to check TX controls, gyro sensors, throttle direction and failsafe for correct operation before attempting to fly.
Cold and very windy but ideal for me to play around with the nitro governor. I've had issues with stuttering and inconsistent headspeed during climb-outs and rainbows and generally when the disc is not loaded. I've now tried various settings over the course of a tank of fuel and arrived, for me anyway, at a near ideal setup.
Align TREX 600N LE V2
Here's my Heli setup:
TREX 600 LE V2
Full size VBAR blueline on 2 Spektrum Sats
Combined nitro governor and throttle servo setup as per Step 3: Preparing the transmitter and throttle linkage | VStabi
Align 3G FBL head and 3G servo wheels
Align DS 610s on the cyclics
Align DS 610 on the throttle
Align DS 620 on the tail
Align 600D FB blades
Align governor sensor and magnets
OS55HZ with Powerboost II pipe
Rapicon 20% Nitro
After using bank switching to try out different settings I could finally see what affect it had on governor performance and also managed to tweak out all the niggles. The vbar internal throttle curves actual function was sketchy and no decent examples are to be found anywhere. Mr Mel only stated that a steep curve would make the governor more aggressive but in layman's terms it just speeds up the time it takes for the governor to bleed off the headspeed and even out again. Particularly useful to me as in full pitch climb-outs and descents there was a distinct lack of reaction speed and it almost sounded like the engine wanted to cut.
Also while 'testing' and definitely a good idea on a windy day I have increased the cyclic and gyro gains to the point where the heli nearly wants to porpoise out of high stall turns although fast funnels are crisp with no wag.
EDIT 13/04/13 - Updated VBAR file

Align TREX 700N LE
Here's my Heli setup:
TREX 700 LE
Full size VBAR blueline on 2 Spektrum Sats
Combined nitro governor and throttle servo setup as per Step 3: Preparing the transmitter and throttle linkage | VStabi
Align 3G FBL head and 3G servo wheels
Align DS 610s on the cyclics
Align DS 610 on the throttle
Align DS 620 on the tail
Align 690D FB blades
Align governor sensor and magnets
Align 91H with Hatori pipe
Rapicon 20% Nitro
This setup has proven to be a very good all-rounder for me. Responsive but smooth. I am just waiting to fly again as I may lower the style slider slighty or optimize the cyclics to improve the tic tocs. The governor worked well from stock and the adjustments I made had no positive or negative effects.
I am really loving this heli at the moment so it's going to be an expensive season this year with regards to fuel!!
EDIT 31/05/13 - New VBAR file
Mikado Logo 550 SX
Stock Scorpion/ YGE combo kit with a 15 tooth pinion running a 2160 headspeed.
Align DS610 on cyclics
Align DS620 on the tail
I hope that these setup files manage to help someone else out who may otherwise be pulling their hair out. Any questions? Feel free to PM me.

EDIT 13/04/13 - Updated VBAR file
- I've modified the internal VBAR governor throttle curve and lowered the minimum governor parameter (whilst running a 2100 rpm head speed in idle 2).
- Lowered the cyclic and gyro gains slightly.
- I have reduced the style slider to medium/ vivid at 66 which has sped up the reaction of the model in tic-tocs and made a remarkable improvement with regards to aileron tic-tocs. The locked in feel has not changed as far as I can tell but the model is more fluid in pirouetting manoeuvres and in particular on pirouetting cross-overs eg. on pirouetting figure eights, mobius, etc.
