  • T-rex 250 Pro DFC started

So last night I made a start on my T-rex 250 Pro DFC Super Combo.

At the start of the evening it looked like this

and by 2am it looked like this

I am waiting for the 15T pinion with the grub screw to arrive from Fast-Lad ( no way I am gluing the pinion on ) and of course once I had ordered that I broke 2 ball links so had to place another order for a spares pack as well.

The only other set back is that I got the AR6210 RX with sat to put in it and discovered it is not a great fit plus the connectors plug into the front instead of inline with the RX, so I am going to swap it for the AR6115e as it is smaller and will fit were I want it to go and also the connectors plug in inline with the unit and not sticking out of the front.

Out of interest, where did you locate the AR6115e?

I'm just at that stage now and am hoping I can get it inside the frame (in that teeny tiny space)

I used these guys -> SPEKTRUM AR6115e 6-Channel DSMX Microlite Receiver as I had already bought the AR6210 from there so I returned it and just did a straight swap for this one and a Nano CPX main frame and he said he would include and bind plug.

You can also get it here Spektrum AR6115e DSM2 Micro Lite 6 Channel RX End-Pin

You may not get a bind plug though as no one seems to have any.

          Appreciate the response.

I originally meant, where on the heli did you locate it

Has your machine left the ground yet and are you happy with it?

          Cheers.
(sitting here patiently with my heli in bits)

Oh I see sorry ............... I am going to try to squeeze it on the top of that tray the 3gx is fixed to but I dont know if it will fit, I will let you know when the RX gets here he sent it out today so I should have it in the next few days.

I need to try a few wiring routes so non of the wires touch the motor.

I can see that wiring it up will be the hard part, I got the new 15T pinion with lock screw I needed and the new links that I snapped the other day.
